ASSISTANT PAINTER
JOB DESCRIPTION – ASSISTANT PAINTER
Exterior painting – Painter, Assistant painter AND Laborer (M/F)
Blanchette is currently looking for exterior painters or aspiring exterior painters to join their residential exterior painting team as soon as possible.
In this role, you will work in a team of 2 to 4 people and will be supervised by a team leader to successfully complete residential exterior painting projects.
Tasks and Responsibilities :
- Prepare, clean and protect surfaces of all types for paint application
- Painting all kinds of exterior surfaces
- Restore the premises
- Work under the supervision of the team leader
- Perform all other job-related tasks
Required profile :
- Ability to work on ladders required (1 to 2 story houses)
- Ability to work in a team (very important)
- Good physical shape
- Meticulous
- Resourceful

You will also have the opportunity to work additional hours in the evenings and weekends if you wish, as well as to exceed the 40 hours of work per week. These overtime hours will be paid at time and a half rate.
The working period is from mid-April to November.
The salary is $20.50 to $30 per hour with an annual team performance bonus system (efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction).
A staff retention plan is in place, offering you the equivalent of an additional $2/hour if you stay the entire season.
